You've joined too early. Wait till 10 minutes before the scheduled session time. You will then see an invitation to join the meeting, or a notice telling you to wait for me to initiate the meeting.

Do not click on the "get help here" link. That will not help. Instead, ignore the blue box and join the meeting. Once you're in the meeting, press the settings icon (a gear icon) in the top right corner. Under "select a camera", select "front camera".
